Digital Life After Death
Today we started watching passages from a series called Black Mirror. It began with a couple driving at night together. The man is obsessed with his phone, he seems addicted to it.
The day after, he leaves the house alone, but doesn't come back. He must have had an accident (he was using his phone before he left).
Later on, the scene changes to the burial ceremony, because the man died. A friend tells the woman she knows something that could help her. She's reluctant, sad and angry.
Her friend says she has to sign up, and that she could speak with Ash, even if he's dead. She also adds it's not spiritual, and that it would help her mourn.
to mourn -> to feel extremely sad because someone had died.
reluctant -> not willing to do something.
to sign up -> to join (a website)
to sign in -> to access a website
