Zuckerberg to allow hallowed negative impact / positive points it is for that reason - > that's why "to conclude, the social networks permit to people communicate between them. et c'est tout." To sum it all up, social networks allow people to communicate. Hardly a day goes by without a new network being invented. Let's not be oblivious to the dangers of these apps though ( néanmoins , utilisable en fin de phrase). Social networks have reshaped (to change) our daily lives, and there's no turning the clock back. A company put out a challenge that if you can do without your smartphone for a year, they'll give you a prize (money), and a young woman takes up on the challenge, because she's an artist, and she needs the money. It'll be difficult :  she's always had a love / hate relationship with her phone she's in jail without a phone she's going to be without a phone for a year, and she's going to (jailbreak?) her phone...

Now the phone as become something essential for humans and it does not separate anymore." All in all, the invention of the phone proved to be one the most tremendous ( biggest ) evolution of the last century. It boils down to communication and technology. As things stand at present, it seems to be a quintessential ( essential ) device for people. It remains to be seen whether or not ( si oui ou non ) we can live without a phone. correction à préparer en fiche

Above all, the condition of women in their homes, at work, and in politics is closely linked. Any progress in one of these areas has repercussions on all the others." to what extent has women's role changed in society? To put it in a nutshell, we can say that women's role has changed in society . It cannot be denied that in the past, women had to come to terms with precarious situations: abortion and voting rights among others. As things stand at present, women still have to bridge distances between their personal lives and their careers. So feminism today is part and parcel of women's daily lives, and there are many struggles left to be fought. 1st sentence   Summary of the main points De...

Oral Presentation White Lady Bloody Mary gown reportedly remote areas associated prominent fabled belle dame sans merci banshee psychopomp Today we spoke about writing conclusions. Here are a few points to remember before writing an essay: Try and start by writing your conclusion .  It'll help you focus when you write the bulk (le gros) of your commentary or essay, and if you write your introduction in the end, it'll be coherent with the rest. Use proper vocab and expression .  Now is the time to use extraordinary words. This is the last thing the teacher is going to read before giving you a mark . Try and be concise .  You don't want your conclusion to exceed a fifth of your total number of words (for 300 words, it'll be around 60 words) You can try and follow that order : 1st sentence   (especially important during an oral presentation, don't hesitate to repeat the Question right there) Summary of the main points   (ideally, one sent...

Presentation : Luddites Today we started working on the Luddites. The first document was a painting depicting a group of people, an angry crowd ( une foule en colère ). There was a gigantic figure right in the middle ; it could be their king, or their leader . In the background , we could notice mountains. A building was on fire in the bottom right-hand corner . The costumes led us to believe the picture dated back from the 18th or 19th century. Another document illustrated what the Luddites were about : another group of angry rioters ( émeutiers , a riot = une émeute , to riot = se révolter ) could be seen attacking a machine. We suggested that they might be rioting because they thought these machines were stealing their jobs, so they defended themselves by destroying them. In the end, an engraving ( une gravure ) from a book compared Luddites with rats, as if they were pests ( des nuisibles ). we can see - > to notice / to distinguish / to figure out in ...
