A Message for Anthony Dowdell's Death, A Dead Profile Today we read last time's text fully. It highlighted the importance Dowdell had on his numerous Facebook friends (we had near 700 of them). But how could they know? Nobody knew he was dead. so one of his "virtual friends" took to the social network and posted a message to communicate news of Dowdell's passing. Anthony was loved on social network, and his friends started tagging photos with his name, and they said it kept them all connected. It became their memorial , because they couldn't attend (=assister) his burial , they all lived too far away or they just learnt too late about his death. Digital Life After Death Today we started watching passages from a series called Black Mirror . It began with a couple driving at night together. The man is obsessed with his phone, he seems addicted to it. The day after, he leaves the house alone, but doesn't come back. He must have had an accident (he was using his phone before he left).  Later on, the scene changes to the burial ceremony, because the man died. A friend tells the woman she knows something that could help her. She's reluctant, sad and angry. Her friend says she has to sign up, and that she could speak with Ash, even if he's dead.
