Ronald Reagan's Ideas -> Evil Empire Speech
Today we finished talking about the Evil Empire speech by R. Reagan. In it, he denounces the USSR as an Evil Empire.
He also accuses the Americans who wants to make peace with the Soviets, saying they betray (ils trahissent) their past and their freedom. He mentions that the origin of evil is not in gulags (soviet state prisons), but in offices with "quiet men in white collars."
He finally claims (prétend) that Americans have to be ready for war, because the USSR have "aggressive impulses," and because they want to declare the omnipotence of Communism over the "individual man," and "all the peoples on the earth."
