all in all, video games play a a key role in our life, it became a big business. We're talking about billion of dollars with one game so imagine with all the video games. With the last generation it took a wider dimension by playing with our friends.

All in all, video games play a key role in our lives nowadays. It has become a multi-billion industry. For instance, GTA 5 came out with a record-breaking budget of over $500 million dollars, which was then higher than the most expensive Hollywood movie. Multiplayer games, casual games and more engaging experiences gradually become a mainstay of popular culture.

Today, we started working on a new text. Here are the elements we think we understood when we scanned it:


  • It's been 28 years since Tim Berners Lee invented the World Wide Web.
  • The beginning of the document praises the creation (célèbre la création) of famous social networks like Facebook or Twitter.
  • The document evokes two sides to technology, the YIN and YANG opposites.
  • the yang is the dark side of technology.
  • the yin is its bright side.
  • the two last paragraphs are about electricity.
  • Sometimes technology leads to dehumanization.
  • It was written in 2019. (Complete the publication info)
Also find and write down two examples of positive and negative changes brought about (amenés, induits par) by technology.

16th Dec : write a conclusion for the text. Try and answer the question on lines 24-25 with your own point of view.
